Recognizing Ignaz Semmelweis and Handwashing was a two-day-long video Doodle shown in late March 2020. The Doodle is a Recognition of Hungarian Physician Ignaz Semmelweis (b 1818, d 1865) who taught that washing hands could kill Germs and Bacteria.
The Doodle was the first one in the series that Google made about the Awareness of the Coronavirus Pandemic. The video is a 50-second clip of the proper way the wash hands in order to avoid catching any disease. The Doodle also came out with a printable cutout sheet detailing rules of proper clean handwashing.
