Paul the Octopus (or just Paul; 2008-2010) was an octopus that was known for predicting the outcomes for the UEFA Euro 2008 cup and later the 2010 World Cup.
He was born in Weymouth, England on January 26th, 2008. He moved to the Sea Life Centre located in Oberhausen, Germany until his death on October 26th, 2010 from natural causes.
He made a posthumous appearance in a few of the 2014 World Cup doodles while in Heaven. He predicted Belgium's win when the country went against Algeria.
